With eight flying fields owned by the Model Aeronautical Association of Australia, there is an abundance of opportunity for members, both locally and travelling, to have access to guaranteed flying destinations. In order tomake an application for the MAAA to purchase land, the request must be supported by the Ordinary Member and sent to the MAAA Secretary. It will then be reviewed by MAAA Executive and if found viable, a Review Group will be formed to consider the proposed purchase. The Review Group will then provide a recommendation regarding the purchase back to the MAAA Executive, which will be circulated to MAAA Council who will decide to proceed or reject the application taking all factors into consideration.
