Dave has held many and various committee positions with Aeromodellers NSW in almost 30 years of service. Every membership card that has been processed in NSW over the last 15 years has been done by Dave. As Registrar, he has been on the end of the phone for all clubs. He has helped them navigate the everchanging MAAA database, from registrar login to members enquiries, processing all Wings Awards and developing training videos on how to use the MAAA database. Dave has been tireless and thorough in support of clubs, and he has held the historical knowledge of clubs and members all the way along. There would not be one club official who hasn’t had some interaction with Dave over the years. He has been a powerhouse in the background, always there to help anyone. He has been a member of many clubs, but his home club is Werrington Park Model Aircraft Club. When not flying he has been involved in different committee position or on a mower helping. “For those that know Dave personally we would all agree this award is well deserved. And not without the support of family and friends. I acknowledge Julie (Wife) for her support. None of us can do these jobs alone and we should remember how much support our wives, and partners provide while we chase our passion in aviation,” said Tim Nolan.
