21 “I felt that this was a most worthwhile exchange of ideas and a tremendous opportunity to establish closer links with one of our Asian neighbours in this sport and to pass on my judging experiences,” continued Joan. “I am really happy to be in a position to mentor other judges in our sport and to pass on the knowledge that I have gained over the years that I have been involved with F2B. The organisers also indicated that they would like me to be able to return to China to assist with training.” Joan says that aeromodelling judging has always been a passion of hers and that to have the opportunity to assist with this in China was extremely rewarding. “This is a sport about which I am deeply passionate and it was great to see the same level of passion and commitment in China,” said Joan.
